The Process - What to Expect

1. Initial Inquiry: To begin crafting your bespoke tea experience, please navigate to the booking page for simple requests or the inquiry page for custom requests to provide our team with the following essential information:

  • Headcount: Number of attendees for your event.

  • Event Location: Address and specifics of the venue. If possible, include a photo to help us envision and plan the setup.

  • Date and Time: When you intend on hosting your elegant afternoon tea.

  • Special Requests: Any specific desires or needs, such as dietary restrictions or theme preferences.

2. Curating Your Personalized Menu: Our team will thoughtfully curate a menu that resonates with your preferences and the occasion. This process includes:

  • Selecting and pairing teas with a balanced assortment of sandwiches, scones, and sweets.

  • Incorporating any particular requests or dietary needs indicated.

3. Menu Draft and Approval:

  • Draft Provided: We will provide a draft of the curated menu at least 5 days prior to your event.

  • Approval: Kindly review and approve the menu within 24 hours to ensure our team has ample time to source the finest ingredients and prepare for your event.

4. Custom Name Cards (Optional):

  • If you wish to include custom name place cards for your guests, please confirm same when remitting your deposit.

  • Attendee List Needed: Provide our team with a list of attendees at least 10 days prior to the event for this complimentary service.

5. Deposit and Booking Confirmation:

  • A 50% deposit is required to confirm booking. This deposit allows our team to secure all necessary materials and preparations for your special day.

  • Bookings are preferably made 10+ days in advance to ensure a seamless and well-coordinated event.

6. Day of the Event - Setup and Clean-Up:

  • Setup: Our team will arrive early (approximately one hour prior to the start time of your event), to transform your chosen location into a haven of afternoon tea elegance. We will ensure every detail is taken care of.

  • Clean-Up: After the event, we handle all the clean-up. Tableware and flatware will be collected by our team from a pre-agreed location (e.g., garage, front porch) at a pre-agreed time.

7. After the Event:

  • We appreciate any feedback or testimonials about your experience with us. Your insights help us continually improve and provide exceptional service.
